Our team conducts community-based research focused on the development and evaluation of new approaches for delivering effective, personalized, and responsive services to promote adolescent mental health. Much of this work includes relationally-based interventions, given the critical importance of social connectedness for youth development and well-being. We have a current focus on understanding and addressing the mental health needs of youth in rural communities.
Our approach to research is collaborative, favoring team science approaches that bring together individuals from different disciplines and with different perspectives and experiences.
